Linda was an Arabian mare who was rescued after hurricane Andrew. Her owner claimed that Linda had been at a trainer's house and that he was unaware of her condition. Because of the unusual circumstances of the hurricane aftermath and not being able to prove who had allowed the horse to get into her condition, Linda had to be returned to her owner.

*Linda was given her name by HPAF. Her owner called her Flacca, Spanish for skinny. We called her Linda, Spanish for beautiful.
